The EXECUTIVE ensures that parents’ interests are represented and that good communication between home & school is maintained; COMMITTEES meet, plan, and coordinate with outside groups to The PAC meets once per month in the KSS Library; VOLUNTEERS give their time, energy, and skills to help fulfill the purpose of the council; PARENTS help provide direction and focus by communicating their concerns, questions, and hopes for their child's school experience.
PAC general meetings take place once per month — usually in the first week; however, PAC executive, committees, and volunteers work throughout the YEAR, and sometimes into the summer, to get things done.
Our meetings are held in the KSS Library — email us at ksspac@gmail.com for directions.
The PAC’s primary mandates are to STRENGTHEN THE ROLE OF PARENTS/GUARDIANS in education and schooling and to foster their meaningful participation by communicating with parents, advising the school on parental views, encouraging co-operation between school and home, assisting parents in accessing the system, advocating on behalf of parents/students, organizing PAC activities and events, and encouraging the involvement of parents, students, and other community members.
Our BYLAWS & CONSTITUTION guide PAC's work in supporting student success.
