The Kansas Junior Academy of Science past winners and Special Award winners are invited to attend the American Junior Academy of Science (AJAS) annual meeting, held in conjunction with the National Association of Academies of Science (NAAS) meeting at the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) annual conference. At the conference students share their research with each other through oral presentations and with the attending scientific community through poster presentations. Students are also able to attend AAAS meetings and hear plenary speakers, eat and visit at "Breakfast with Scientists," and tour local STEM attractions.
Sounds like a great time? It is! Make sure to register with the Kansas State Science and Engineering Fair (must compete in a regional fair first) to be considered for the Kansas Junior Academy of Science Special Award! Contact Jill Fisher at jill.fisher@wichita.edu for more information.
