Dr. Shin and Seo-Yeon received Best Paper Award from the Kyungpook National University Research Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Congratulations!
Dr. Shin, Seo-Yeon, and Jeong-Soo attended the 2026 Spring Meeting of the Korean Society for Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics held in Busan. The conference, themed “Frontiers in Pediatric and Oncology Clinical Pharmacology,” aimed to highlight the latest research achievements and explore future directions in clinical pharmacology within pediatric and oncology fields. In the era of rapidly advancing innovative therapeutics and precision medicine, the meeting emphasized the development of evidence-based drug discovery and personalized pharmacotherapy for pediatric and cancer patients.
Dr. Shin, Honghao, and Min-Gyo attended the 2026 Korea Metabolomics Society held at the Sejong University Convention Center. Honghao gave a poster presentation. Min-gyo gave an oral presentation and he won the Oral Presentation Award.

Dr. Shin received the Leading Clinical Pharmacy Scientist Award at the 29th Annual Meeting and Autumn Conference of the Korean College of Clinical Pharmacy for her contributions to the society and achievements in the field of clinical pharmacy.

Honghao presented his bioanalytical analysis project, "Enhanced LC-MS/MS Assay Development and Validation for Determining Cisplatin in Human Plasma, Whole Blood, and Cervical Cancer Tissue via Diethyldithiocarbamate Derivatization: Application to Cervical Cancer Patients", at the 7th KNU MSCRI Symposium held in the Chemistry Building of Kyungpook National University.

Dr. Shin delivered a lecture titled “Practical Approaches to Case-Based Polypharmacy Management” at the Polypharmacy Management Seminar held at the Daegu Pharmaceutical Association Hall. Reflecting on the event, Dr. Shin remarked, “I am truly delighted to have participated as an advisory professor in such a meaningful initiative.” The seminar brought together pharmacists involved in the polypharmacy management project, serving as a valuable forum to discuss strategies for enhancing medication safety and establishing optimal therapeutic approaches for patients taking multiple medications.
Sun-Beom, Min-Gyo, and Jeong-Soo from the BK21 Project for Infectious Disease Response Healthcare Convergence Education & Research Group participated in an on-site field trip. The visit included the Animal Cell Culture Validation Center, the Gyeongbuk Vaccine Commercialization Center, and the National Center for Advanced Vaccine Development, offering an opportunity to observe research and industrial practices in vaccine development and infectious disease response and to broaden their understanding.

Seo-Yeon and Dr. Shin attended 2025 spring international convention of the Pharmaceutical Society of Korea held in Daegu. Seo-yeon gave an oral presentation and a poster presentation about her research on physiologically based pharmacokinetic model approaches for informing dosing recommendations for escitalopram in pregnancy. She won the Oral Presentation Award! Dr. Shin gave a talk in the Real-World Data-Based Drug Safety Research and Clinical Application Session.

Our laboratory has once again been recognized for its commitment to excellence, earning its third "Safety Management Excellence Laboratory" certification from the Ministry of Science and ICT. Adding to this remarkable achievement, our graduate students, Seo-yeon Choi and Sun-beom Gwon, have been honored with a Presidential Commendation for their outstanding contributions to laboratory safety management.
