See You At The Finish Line

My final project as a SUU BFA student. This was the biggest project that I did during my time at Southern Utah University. This whole project was in honor of my dad. He was one of my biggest supporters. And when I lost him it was the hardest thing ever. I knew that I wanted to do something that would make him proud. I kept this a secret from my family for over a year. I wanted them to feel everything when they saw it for the first time. Especially my mom and sister. I wanted them to be able to see that everything I do from now on will be for my dad and them. I made this project for them. They suffered just as much as I did and they supported me when I came back to Cedar City after everything happened. I lived up in Cedar by myself and it was hard to move back up here afterward. When I began this project, it became a bit easier because I had a piece of my dad along the way. He was with me throughout the entire process. And I am very proud of myself for being able to accomplish this project. This was created in Adobe Illustrator and acrylic paint was used on the helmet.
