Georgia O'Keeffe Painting

Painting is what drew me to art in the first place. I found that painting was calming and it helped me understand art in a way that graphic design could not. This painting is a recreation of Georgia O'Keeffe's famous painting, "Summer Days." This was a difficult piece to create. But what I learned from this was how to match colors and how to mimic what another artist had created. Overall, this piece took 10 hours to finish. This was created using oil paint on a canvas.
