With the joy and comfort of in-home support, services rendered are subjective to the individual needs of each family. These include but are not limited to breastfeeding support, bottle feeding support, time allowance for self-care, meal prep assistance, light housework, cleaning/organizing the home, pet/plant care, caring for baby to provide parent relief or care for other children to allow more dedicated time for bonding with baby, emotional/mental support, reflection of pregnancy and labor experiences, newborn education to families as a whole, transportation assistance can potentially be arranged if needed

- Unlimited text messaging for free once a contracted client
- Phone calls will be billed with time adjustment according to hourly rate. Anything less than 10 minutes will not be charged.

As stated per policy, these services are covered in their entireties but I always urge clients to call and double check prior to booking. I can bill Medicaid directly, leaving out the need for client to wait for reimbursement or remember to submit their claims

As of 2024, Many more insurance companies now cover these services! Anyone can call their representative ahead of time to confirm how much coverage will be given. Payments will be fulfilled by client and then will be client's responsibility to turn claim in to insurance for reimbursement.

The Affordable Care Act requires that preventative health care for women such as breastfeeding support, supplies, and counseling be covered under health insurance. Unfortunately, the guidelines are not clearly outlined, and coverage varies. Visit the national women's law center for further information. A super bill receipt will be provided for reimbursement submission to your insurance. Services are eligible for reimbursement with a flexible spending (FSA), health savings account (HSA) and health reimbursement arrangement (HRA). Kristen Snyder Doula Services do not guarantee reimbursement and services provided are not refundable. Payment is due at the time of service by cash or credit card. Please contact your insurance company for questions about coverage before your visit. Payment plans available upon discussion.
