Sant Jordi's Day. This is a big holiday here in Barcelona, based on a legend about knights, dragons, and princesses. At school, the students were able to dressed up as one of thise three things. On this day Casa Batllo is decorated in roses and the streets around this house are closed. On the streets there are many stands selling roses and books. The tradition is for the boys to give girls a rose, and for the girls to give the boys a book. Now, the boys still give the grils roses, but everyone is buying books on this holiday.
