About Dr. K P Pradhan
He has Completed M.Tech and Ph.D. degree in Nanoelectronic Devices, Electrical Engineering Department from NIT Rourkela, Odisha, India, in 2013 and 2017, respectively. He has been awarded the prestigious Snigdhashri Patra Gold Medal for best Ph.D. thesis by NIT Rourkela in 2018. Post Ph.D, he has worked as a Senior Project Engineer in Nanolab, Electrical Department, IIT Kanpur.
And, subsequently he has worked as an Assistant Professor in ECE Department, JIIT Noida from Jul, 2017 to Mar 2018. Currently, he is serving as an Assistant Professor in ECE Department, IIITDM Kancheepuram since Mar 2018. He has authored or co-authored over 100 international journal and conference articles. He is holding the publications award from IEEE Madras Section every year since 2019. He is a recipient of "IEEE MAS BEST RESEARCHER AWARD - 2021 (Age 40 and below)" from IEEE Madras Section. He has received Startup Research Grant (SRG) from SERB and UGC-DAE CSR fundings to conduct research on "Neuromorphic Computing". He is a recipient of SERB International Research Experience (SIRE) for the year 2023-2024 to Université Catholique De Louvain, Belgium for 6 months as a visiting Professor to continue the research on "FDSOI Neurons". He is also listed in the "Golden List of Reviewers for 2020" IEEE T-ED. He is the founding Faculty Advisor of IEEE EDS Student Branch Chapter IIITDM Kancheepuram with fundings to conduct "Summer School" and "Mini-Colloquia". His research interests are in the area of modeling and simulation of nanoscale devices, SOI FETs, FinFETs, Graphene FETs, NC FETs, Solar Cells, Reliability of Devices, Neuromorphic Computing, and Machine Learning in TCAD.
Dr. Pradhan is a Senior Member of IEEE and IEEE EDS & also a Life Member of Solar Energy Society of India (SESI) & IE (India).
