• Honey Shock: The two first met around four years ago, when Hindwing was 15, & Honey Shock was 21. Hindwing had wandered into the Dazzlewood Forest while regressed, leaving him vulnerable when a manticore attacked him for stumbling into its territory. Honey Shock, on patrol that day, jumped in to protect him; though she got severely injured as a result, causing her to lose her eye & hoof. Ridden by guilt, Hindwing sought to visit her regularly in the hospital as she recovered; & the two gradually formed an unbreakable bond.
  
  They've seen each other as their unofficial honorary siblings for years; complete with friendly bickering & hi-jinks, & this would only be accentuated as Hindwing moved in with Honey Shock & Falcon Flight to Dazzlewood Forest. They're very openly affectionate & would go to the ends of Equestria for each other, while also calling the other the most stupid hoof-for-brains on the planet.
  
  They're also mutually worried about each other's safety; Honey worries for Hindwing as her baby brother, while Hindwing worries about Honey Shock's recklessness & tendency to endanger herself if it means protecting others- & while Hindwing openly accepts Honey Shock's doting, Honey keeps insisting she doesn't need any help, much to Hindwing's increasing chagrin & concern.

• Falcon Flight: They've known each other since Hindwing was just a hatchling. When his family went missing, Falcon Flight tried to visit Hindwing as regularly as she could, at first due to him being the last piece of her missing friends she had left, but then growing fond of Hindwing for himself. Unfortunately, contact grew increasingly sparse over the years, as Falcon retreated deeper into her own walls; though they never lost touch completely.

When the School Of Friendship, with Professor Fluttershy's approval, offered Hindwing a position in Dazzlewood Forest where Falcon Flight worked, Hindwing jumped at the opportunity- if only so he wouldn't be alone when he eventually graduated (There were other reasons, but that was the biggest factor for Hindwing.). Falcon Flight, meanwhile, was taken aback by his sudden re-introduction to her life, but she couldn't find it in herself to say no.

While things were somewhat tense at first, the two would eventually form a close, sort of mother-son bond; as Falcon Flight softened around him & Hindwing grew more confident in her presence.
