Burning Love was born in Manehatten, having quite an explosive start. Like many unicorn children, Burning's magic was wild, powerful, and uncontrollable. It was fine, for the most part; her parents & even herself assumed that she'd grow out of it.

  However, for some odd reason, she never did. While other unicorns slowly began to gain more control over their powers as they grew, Burning Love was a late bloomer; any sort of strong emotion seemed to set off her magic.

  Because of this, Burning Love grew anxious, and even terrified, of her own magic. Her magic had already caused many accidental injuries before; What if she ended up seriously hurting somepony? And so, began the young filly's vow to never use her magic ever again. Bit dramatic, but she was a filly.

  Later on, after she & her family moved to Ponyville; Burning Love, her classmates, and her mother who was a chaperone, had gotten lost in the Everfree Forest during a class field trip. Nopony knew what to do! As the night came, everypony just got more frightened.

  Seeing the sad look on everypony else's face, Burning Love wanted to cheer everypony up; But, how? Her mother had told them all to stay put in the clearing & wait for a search party, so it wasn't like any of them could wander off to play.

  Reluctantly, after having gone almost two years without using it at all, Burning turned to an idea that she knew everypony would love to see; She would use her magic to try and create pretty fireworks that would cheer them up. Everypony loved fireworks, right? She knew she did.

  And so, like it was second nature despite having locked it away for so long, Burning Love called everypony's attention, and aimed at the sky.

  Everypony loved it! Even better, the rescue party had found them! Apparently, not only had her burst of magic cheered up the class, but it had also acted as a sort of flare signal, guiding the search team to find them!

  It was then that Burning Love realised her true destiny & figured out what her special talent was: spreading warmth, love, & joy using her fireworks. She came home with her mother to show her father her new cutie mark, & the family shared a celebratory dinner that night.

  As Burning got older, she began to work as a performer for hire. Similar to the Flaming Sky Firework Troupe, Burning was hired to perform a fireworks show using her magic at parties. Her skill in pyrokinesis has proved useful multiple times whenever Equestria was under attack, sometimes she would need to burn debris or blow up rubble in order to escape.

  A unicorn named Spiral Hoof, later revealed to be a changeling named Spiracle, moved in with her, the two eventually falling in love. The two eventually moved away to Heartshare Valley with Spiracle's nephew, Hindwing.

  In one word? Passionate. Burning Love is unabashedly affectionate & caring; it is her talent, after all! Her love for others is unconditional & unwavering; & she refuses to be embarrassed by open displays of compassion. She values authenticity & honestly greatly; not in the sense that she'll feel betrayed if you're dishonest, but rather in the sense that she wants others to know they can be their true selves around her.
