Irori room

Welcome to Kohsinzuka

Old houses have many gaps, so they are cool in the summer but cannot protect against the cold in the winter.

Due to rising heating costs, we are unable to provide a comfortable stay for our guests, so we will be closed for the winter from mid-December to early March.

Koshinzuka Ryokan is a traditional Japanese house that is over 120 years old and located in Otsumago, a short distance from Tsumago-juku.

The hotel is surrounded by Nakasendo roads and mountain streams.

The traditional charcoal hearth is loved by many guests.

You can enjoy your evenings by eating and chatting with guests around the warm hearth.

Please enjoy your time in this rural hideaway.

Wash basin : 2 places
Toilet : 2 places
Bathroom Amenity : bathrobe, shampoo/rinse, soap

*No towel and toothbrush are available
However, we will lend you a towel if you ask.
The kitchen, bath, wash basin and toilet were renovated in 2003.

Parking : About 5 cars can be accommodated.

Dining

We serve home-made dishes made of homegrown and seasonal mountain vegetables and river fishes.

“Goheimochi” rice cakes are unique and popular among even the first time visitors. Local chestnuts give a special flavor to its excellent taste.

Adult : Junior high student and above
The sam rate will apply to one person
