Donation Request Process
Need to submit a donation request? Follow the steps below.
If requesting financial assistance with the rental costs or seeking an other donation request associated with our organizational values, the following procedure is required. If requesting a hall donation request, please follow the procedure outlined in the other tab of this section called "Hall Donation Request".
Please send a letter of request to the Knights of Columbus Hall addressed as:
Attention Grand Knight
111 Elliott Road
Defiance, Ohio 43512.
Grand Knight may also be emailed at council1039@gmail.com but we still require a written request be sent to our Elliott Road address for audit purposes.
Ensure the following information needed in the request is:
The purpose of the rental including the proposed date and time
The contact person for the rental with phone number, and if we decide to make a donation,
The address where we will send the donation.
Council 1039 meets on the second Wednesday of each month- please ensure donation requests are submitted in a timely manner. If requests are submitted after the second Wednesday of the month, the request will not be approved/denied until the next month's meeting.
Pending approval of the request, the council will send a check with the enclosed amount to the address specified in the donation request letter.
If K of C Council 1039 approves a partial or full donation of the rental cost or of donation request, Council 1039 will send you a check for the amount granted.
