Our plans 

What we are doing now: 

We established a charitable gifting account with Schwab Charitible DAFgiving360 in 2022 and have been dispersing cash grants from our charity to 501[3] charities working in the following areas: Food Pantries, Homeless Shelters, Refuges for Domestic Violence and Sexual Trauma, Drug And Alcoholic rehabilitation Homes, Meals delivery for the elderly, disabled, and homeless, College Student Emergency Funds, Repair/Remodel Program to keep elderly in their homes, Veterans Emergency Help, Pharmacy program for those who cannot afford medications, Rides for the elderly and Disabled, and additional very worthy causes.

Additionally, our charity is actively partnering with Carol's Kindness Plus to salvage food for local pantry distribution at Gus Garcia Rec Center in Austin and providing grant writing expertise.  Food is being delivered to the homeless on the street and in their camps by volunteers, the pantry location,  to organizations that partner with that offer group meals. 

Over 45,000 pounds of food are distributed to households each month (as of this writing 4/26) to those in need through Dianne, Carol, and the crew at the food pantry, with a fresh food pickup point 5-6 days a week for the needy. We provide part of the meal weekly from pantry donations to the Charlie Center which feeds the homeless lunch 3 days/week. 

 To date, we have distributed about $324,700 in funds to over 100 charities. We are reviewing several small charities for funding and repeat funding and adding a few more. Emergency requests are also under consideration. We are dedicated to doubling our donations in 2026.

We have also participated in a number of fundraising galas and matching grant challenges this year. No reason not to have a bit of fun while giving out funds. It is also exposing us to the wide net of local partnerships to accomplish so much more.
