My first major solo project, made in Godot. A simple but fun twin-stick shooter with tower defence and rougelike elements.
My solo 2025 GGJ submission. The Theme was bubbles, so I made a puzzle platformer where you play a wizard whose only spell is to cast "Bubble" trying to get home to their dog.
I have found Unity easy to learn and a good tool for basic 2D and 3D games, and I will most likely continue to use Unity in the future despite the company's issues.
I have worked a bit in Godot, after working in Unity, it feels so natural using the interface and navigating a project. All this with the added bonus of no corporate issues.
I have started working in Unreal Engine 5. I am not a fan of blueprints, but I also see their usefulness and am familiar with their use. Chaos physics is also just fun to work with.
