At King-Salman Medical Students' Association (KMSA), we are committed to advancing the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through our initiatives, advocacy, and community engagement. Our work aligns with SDGs 1, 2, 4, 5, 10, 16, and 17, addressing poverty, hunger, education, gender equality, inequality, peace, and partnerships to create a healthier and more equitable world.
KMSA tackles poverty by addressing health disparities in underserved communities, such as South Sinai’s Bedouin population. Through SCORP’s community health projects, we provide medical outreach and advocate for equitable access to healthcare, reducing the burden of poverty-related illnesses.
SCORP works towards better communities, as forward, KMSA's reserve fund each year goes to local charities to provide meals, clothes, and other life essentials to the poor.
KMSA is a group of medical students that serves to promote better health access and practice. Health is a fundamental human right, not an option.
SCOME enhances medical education by offering workshops, clinical training (e.g., First Aid, Life Support), and peer-learning opportunities. We empower students with skills and knowledge to become competent healthcare leaders, fostering lifelong learning.
SCORA leads efforts to eradicate gender-based violence and female genital mutilation (FGM) while promoting sexual and reproductive health rights. also we tackle Gender-Based Violence in both SCORA & SCORP.
KMSA’s SCORP focuses on marginalized communities, ensuring equitable healthcare access. By addressing social determinants of health in regions like South Sinai, we work to reduce disparities and promote inclusion for all.
Through SCORP’s human rights advocacy, we promote peaceful and inclusive societies. Our initiatives raise awareness about health equity and social justice, fostering accountable institutions by training future physicians to uphold ethical standards.
KMSA seeks global and local partnerships to amplify our impact. By collaborating with organizations we aim to secure resources, share knowledge, and drive sustainable health solutions.
