Our Orienteering team at Kennesaw Mountain High School is high achieving and provides team bonding experiences. It is a smaller family inside the bigger KMHS NJROTC family. The KMHS Orienteering team has made it to nationals many years before, and if we continue with our hard work and dedication, we can make Nationals again. Orienteering is a timed race through our National Parks with a map and a compass finding checkpoints in a certain order
Parents are highly encouraged to support their cadets at the Meets and are welcome to join us. Parent support is needed for Meets and is greatly appreciated. Parental volunteers are needed to boost cadet morale and be carpool drivers. Volunteering allows you to learn about the sport and to witness your cadet mastering mind-over-matter skills.
