Rifle team is a sport where teams of four individuals shoot air rifles at competitions to compete for the best scores. Not only among our school but in other NJROTC units in Area 12.  Even though it is an individual sport, we still are a team. We must cooperate with one another to achieve our highest goal. This is also an Olympic sport. In air rifle, there are two teams, Sporter and Precision. Everyone starts out at the Sporter level but with hard work and dedication, anyone can work their way up to the Precision team. If there are any concerns about not knowing how to shoot, and wanting to join the team, that's not a problem. We will help and give you demonstrations on how to shoot. 

During competitions, there are three positions that are used. Prone and kneeling for twenty minutes each and standing for twenty-five minutes with twenty shots per position.
