I will develop lifelong learners and growth-minded leaders.
I will engage and empower my students to become independent thinkers that believe in themselves and can find solutions for the challenges presented to them in school and life.
It is my job to reinforce in myself and my students the characteristics of responsibility, respect, integrity, and reflection.
Through compassion and fairness, I will meet the emotional and intellectual needs of students to build significant relationships that leave a lifelong legacy.
We will work to become advocates for reading now and in the future.
My teaching career started in 2010 in San Antonio, Tx. I was a 4th/ 5th grade teacher for 7 years in San Antonio and Pflugerville before I came to middle school. I grew up in Austin and San Antonio, and moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana when I was in high school. I am definitely a Cajun girl at heart ☺I attended LSU for a couple of years (Geaux Tigers) then transferred to UTSA (Beep, Beep!). I have the most adorable pug named Bick. He’s a bit of a trouble-maker, but his cute smile lets him get away with anything!
