The studio educator regrets being unable to accept any new music studio students at this time or in the near future.

My name is David Lee Klassy. I prefer to be introduced as David, but I prefer to be called Dave once we're more familiar with one another. I had to go by Mr. Klassy in my 19 years of public school teaching, but I have never enjoyed that type of formality. The above photographed otherwise living room space on the Southwest end of the ground floor of my home near downtown Kalispell, I created what has been designated as my work at home or work from home remote employment office in addition to my studio.

I wish to acknowledge that multiple computers are visible as they stand by to serve any multi-tasking, multi-viewing, or individualized assigned purposes to the greater business functions of this office space.  A television set is present, but it only functions to play or playback any self-made or otherwise available video training and education material that would not otherwise be seen on a desktop computer. The audio, visual, and combined components noticeable near the computers and television all serve as playback, recording, and editing devices for past and eventually future work in this space as it also serves as a recording studio. The fireplace blocked by the parlor grand piano is not currently functional and will not function until we complete much-needed work on it and on the chimney at a later date.

Most importantly, it should be known that this space has a separate entrance and exit access to the outdoors from other access elsewhere in the house. We have installed sliding barn-style doors close off the archway separating the workspace from the dining room and partial den and the rest of the house. Elsewhere in the house is a separate and similar office working space for myself and others in the household, and with that, there is additional space available elsewhere for family members to practice their musical instruments of interest. The house has central heating, in fact, a new whole-house unit was installed in 2016 filling the need for any heating which could have been handled by a more functional fireplace, since the one in the studio is not working. During the warmer season, a separate air conditioner is temporarily installed with the purpose of cooling this room on its own.

For reasons of long-overdue responses to existing and newly diagnosed health concerns and hopes to pro-actively address those now elevated concerns due to newer unknown but proven severe and chronic pain-causing concerns, the studio will not be accepting any new students.

Current students may continue in the assumption that heavily pre-screened concerns about the immuno-comprising concerns about my family continue to be respected with non-reluctant masking, 6+ foot distancing in the studio, and/or utilizing remote teaching measures, respecting the teacher's need to quarantine and limit travel, hopefully only temporary, but going forward. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

The studio is located at 605 2nd Ave. W., Kalispell, MT 59901. You may text or leave a voicemail at (406) 890-0157 or email klassymusicteacher@gmail.com
