Food & Drinks

• Bring enough drinks and snacks, especially carbohydrates.

• For this trip, isotonic drinks are not a luxury.

Shoes & Clothing

• If it has rained, some sections may be muddy and quite a few stretches may be soggy.

• Wear shoes with a good tread to prevent slipping.

• No slippers, Crocs, or shoes/sandals without a proper strap.

• Some sections have no tree canopy, so protect yourself against the elements.

• We scale heights up to 4,300 m asl - dress accordingly

Route & Navigation

• The hikes are all above 3,000 m asl.

• Skipping a hike is possible as long as we spend two nights in the same accommodation place.  

• Have a working GPS navigation app.

• These are guided hikes. 

• We will hike together at all times for safety reasons. 

Meeting Time

• Please be at the meet-up place on 17/10/2026 after 04:00 pm.
  
  

Responsibility & Environment

• Please be responsible and do not litter. Do not leave any rubbish along the track.

• The hikes will take place unless, for any reason, your safety cannot be guaranteed.
  
  

Insurance

• Purchasing a travel insurance is compulsory.

• Insurance is included in the package which covers issues during the transfers and the group activities only.

• Transfer to Chanpinggou

• Hike (20km - easy/moderate)

Day 4 - 20/10/2026

• Transfer to Dangling

Day 5 - 21/10/2026

• Hike the mountain lakes - Option A: 6 kilometres - Option B: 8 kilometres (moderate) - Motorbike available

Day 6 - 22/10/2026

• Hike to Daofu Milk Sea (6 km - moderate) 

• Transfer to Xinduqioa

Day 7 - 23/10/2026

• Transfer to Hehuahai Lake Park

• Scenic bus ride to Moon Lake 1

• Hike to to Hehuahai Lake (5km - moderate)

• Transfer to Kangding

Day 8 - 24/10/2026

• Transfer to Chengdu

Day 9 - 25/10/2026
