Pay the Commitment Fee of RM100.00 as soon as possible.
Pay the Deposit once you have been informed that the event is confirmed.
After payment, place yourself on the Attendees list in Meetup.
Have a gps navigation app installed on your phone and make sure that it is working properly. [More info].
If you can't make it, remove yourself from the Attendees list in Meetup before the event starts.

If it has rained, some sections may be muddy and quite a few stretches may be soggy.
Wear shoes with a good tread to prevent slipping.
No slippers, Crocs, or shoes/sandals without a proper strap.
Some sections have no tree canopy, so protect yourself against the elements.
We do hike through jungles - dress accordingly.

Skipping a hike is possible as long as we spend two nights in the same accommodation place.
Have a working GPS navigation app.
We will hike together at all times for safety reasons.
All hikes will take place in a rainforest setting which is comparable to those on the peninsula.

Please be responsible and do not litter. Do not leave any rubbish along the track.
The hikes will take place unless, for any reason, your safety cannot be guaranteed.

KL Hiking Membership is free.
Participation fee for this event: RM850.00 per person (Malaysian) - RM910.00 per person (non-Malaysian).

RM100.00 - Commitment Fee
RM250.00 - Deposit by 01/11/2026 - RM310.00 (non-Malaysians)
RM200.00 - Instalment #1 by 01/12/2026
RM200.00 - Instalment #2 by 01/01/2027
RM100.00 - Balance by 01/02/2027

Cancellation policy (no exceptions) in case you can't find a replacement yourself:
Between 01/11/2026 and 30/11/2026 : No refund of the paid deposit and maximum 50% of the paid instalments minus RM50.00 administration costs.
Between 01/12/2026 and 31/12/2026 : No refund of the paid deposit and maximum 25% of the paid instalments minus RM50.00 administration costs.
On or after 01/01/2027: No refund whatsoever.

private expenses (phone calls, battery charging, internet, laundry, drinks and snacks, entrance fees, souvenirs, etc.)
all expenses outside the group event (eg accommodation in case of unforeseen return)
