• There are no restrooms in the vicinity.
  
  

Food & Drinks

• Bring enough drinks and snacks, especially carbohydrates.

• For this trip, isotonic drinks are not a luxury. You will need at least 1.5 litres of fluids.
  
  

Shoes & Clothing

• We do not have to cross any streams where taking off your shoes is necessary.

• If it has rained, some sections may be muddy and quite a few stretches may be soggy.

• Wear shoes with a good tread to prevent slipping.

• No slippers, Crocs, or shoes/sandals without a proper strap.

• Some sections have no tree canopy, so protect yourself against the elements.

• There are rope sections; bring gloves.

Route & Navigation

• The hike is a clockwise loop.

• Be prepared for quite a lot of uphill and downhill hiking.

• We are not hiking exactly the same way in and out, so following the GPX file is advised.

• The total distance will be around 12 km.

• Have a working GPS navigation app.

• This is a self-guided hike. You will receive a GPX file at the trailhead and will have to navigate yourself.

• You can start hiking once you have downloaded the GPX file.

• A shortcut is possible. Consult your navigation app.

Meeting Time

• The meet-up time listed on the event page is the time by which the last hiker should have started the hike.

• Please be at the meet-up place at least 15 minutes before the announced time.
  
  

Cut-off Time

• Mandatory cut-off time at the car park: 03:00 pm.
  
  

Responsibility & Environment

• Please be responsible and do not litter. Do not leave any rubbish along the track.

• The hike will take place unless, for any reason, your safety cannot be guaranteed.

  • Not scanning the QR code and checking out online after the event.

  • Being flagged as a No Show for three events.
