Instructional design research, according to Reigeluth (1999), “aims to improve how people learn and develop” (as cited by Spector, 2000, p. 3).
To be in line with that research, I feel it is important to...
- create content that can be applied in an authentic context by selecting relevant instructional strategies and assessments
- be resourceful in applying theories, models and methods in order to, as per Spector (2000), allow for “the possibility of progress” (p. 3) in achieving learning outcomes;
- develop and implement a plan in a collaborative environment adhering to deadlines that encourages success for all.
