About Me
Hi, my name is Makiylah. As of 2026, I’m a 20‑year‑old college student pursuing a future career in radiology — a field that has always interested me and something I knew I wanted to pursue ever since graduating high school. I love cats (as you can probably tell!) and miss my baby Pizza ( I named her that because she loved stealing my pizza) and I love dogs just as much.
I’m a very hands‑on, creative person, and I enjoy crocheting, knitting, and sewing. I like challenging myself with new projects, making all kinds of different things, and I even hope to start selling some of my creations as a fun little side hustle.
I’m also a big reader. My favorite book genres are thrillers, romcoms, and romance. Right now, I’m reading The Institute by Stephen King and Shatter Me. One of my favorite shows is Anne with an E, which fits perfectly with my love for heartfelt, character‑driven stories.
A personal goal of mine is to eventually live outside the U.S. and experience life in a different country. I love the idea of exploring new cultures, new places, and new ways of living.
Reflection
Overall, this class has been an eye‑opening experience. I discovered many useful features in PowerPoint and Word that I never knew existed, even though I’ve used Word throughout my entire educational journey. Learning how to take advantage of these tools has made creating documents and presentations much easier and more professional. I also learned how to properly use Excel, which I’m definitely going to take advantage of moving forward because it makes organizing information and managing data so much simpler. On top of that, I gained a deeper understanding of the digital world and how technology continues to shape the way we learn, communicate, and work. This class has truly expanded my skills and confidence with digital tools.
