Kiwi Clubhouse Learning Centre
Kiwi Clubhouse Learning Centre
Kiwi Clubhouse Learning Centre is a significant place for me. I began my teaching career here and after venturing overseas I came back to our Centre as it always feels like home. Being a Mum I understand how important it is to find an Early Learning Centre where you feel comfortable to leave your child, knowing they will be loved, cared for and learn at their own pace. This is a feeling and an instinct you get when you walk in the door and meet our team and spend time in our environment. This is why I encourage every whānau to come in and visit us to see if we will be the best fit for you and your child. Kiwi Clubhouse has a special culture, we are more than an ECE centre and teaching team, we are a family.
I am so proud of the high caliber team of kaiako that work at our centre. Kiwi Clubhouse Learning Center is a really special place and I hope every family experiences the love and care within our environment that we have worked so hard to create and uphold.

Kiwi Clubhouse Learning Centre is a community based Early Learning service. We are licensed for 50 children. We are split into 3 areas, babies (Morepork room), toddler's (Kea room) and young children (Tui room). Our opening hours at 7:30 am - 5:30 pm Monday - Friday.
We also run a before and after school and holiday programme. This is our Oscar programme and is located next door to our centre.
At Kiwi Clubhouse we have a real passion for sustainability. This is embedded in our teaching practices and curriculum. We encourage tamariki to be the kaitiaki of our environment, looking after our natural and living worlds. We have worked hard to reduce waste and rubbish in our centre. We grow our own produce and give back to our community through our community sharing shelf (located in our centre entry).
Our low ratios are something that we value, we believe this is the reason we are able to form such strong connections with all tamariki and their whānau. Relationships are at the heart of everything that we do. We have worked hard to create a warm, nurturing culture where everyone feels welcomed and included as soon as they enter our centre. We would love you to visit us, meet our amazing team and spend time in our environment. You don’t need to make an appointment, come in whenever it works for you, your tamariki and your whānau.

Our Sustainability Journey
At Kiwi Clubhouse Learning Centre, Kaitiakitanga is a core value and aspect of our philosophy. At the beginning of 2023 we decided to investigate how effectively we were supporting and educating our tamariki to be kaitiaki (guardians) and understand what it means to be sustainable and care for our environment.

As part of our sustainability journey we were lucky enough to get solar installed over the 2023 Christmas break. This will help us to reduce our power bills as well as our environmental footprint. We appreciate the Solar One team helping us work towards becoming a more sustainable Early Learning Centre.
