The Niagara Convention is where Ontario New Democrats came together to shape bold policy, sharpen our campaign skills, and strengthen the movement for a future working people can afford. Over three powerful days, delegates heard inspiring speeches, debated, and voted on member-led resolutions. They took part in organizing and training sessions, and connected with New Democrats from across the province. This is where we charted our path to victory in 2029 — and beyond, under Provincial NDP Leader Marit Stiles. Thank you to our Provincial Convention Delegates, who were elected at the August 2025 AGM. The following delegates participated in the Niagara Convention in September 2025: Peter Eglin, Kimiko Shibata, Brooklin Wallis, Debbie Chapman.
Thank you as well to all of the convention delegates and members who attended our #PathToPower Waterloo-Wellington NDP Pre-Convention training and planning event at the KPL on September 7, 2025!
On Monday, September 8. 2025 the Ontario NDP held an emergency #HandsOffOurSchools virtual Education Town Hall to discuss the impacts of Bill 33. This resource list of petitions and websites to take action for education was compiled by one of our members.
*Please note that becoming a member of the Provincial NDP automatically includes membership in the Federal NDP, and vice versa.
