The goal of this project is to explore and find various types of media.
I found this image on Deviant Art by typing the word "Korra". I really like The Legend of Korra series a lot and wanted to include it on my website.
I couldn't find anything about sharing or reusing the work.

I found this animation on Creative Commons by searching "rotating earth".
I had to save the animation to my computer and upload it to the website.
There is a CC BY-SA 3.0 license for the animation. This means that reusers can:
Distribute, adapt, build upon, and remix the material as long as they give credit to the original creator.
Adaptations must be shared under the same terms.
I chose this audio sample because I really like rain sounds and use them to sleep. I found this sample on Free Sound.
The audio file was originally a wav file, but it wouldn't play when I uploaded it, so I had to convert it to an MP3 file using Cloud Convert.
I couldn't find licensing information about this sample, only who created it.

I included this trailer to Avatar: The Way of Water because I really like both movies. Also, it kind of shares the same name with Avatar: The Last Airbender, which is in the same universe as The Legend of Korra, both of which I really like and are my favorite childhood shows.
I added this trailer to my website via embed code from YouTube. There were no license or usage policy in the description.
Lightstorm Entertainment, which is owned by James Cameron, the director of the Avatar franchise, owns the intellectual property rights.
Meanwhile, Disney owns the distribution rights.
I would say that this assignment was very interesting and fun to do. I learned about the different types of CC license, and also explored the different sites that these examples came from. I found it fun browsing through the website, Deviant Art, and seeing all the different variations of Korra that were out there. I also had a fun time listening to all the rain audios and choosing which one I liked. Overall, it was a very informative research project!
