Event Spotlight
Members of the Kirby Center recently came together to donate snack bags to patient families who are staying at the Yawkey Family Inn. The Patient Family Housing Program provides affordable accommodations to any family, parent, or guardian of a Boston Children's patient that lives beyond 50 miles from the hospital, while their child receives the medical care they need from Boston Children's. The program is located across two properties: The Yawkey Family Inn (241 Kent Street, Brookline) and The Bon (1260 Boylston Street, Boston).
Thanks to all who helped make this a success!
Thanks to everyone who participated in our annual Kirby center gingerbread house competition! Participating labs were tasked with representing their lab in gingerbread-house form in under an hour! While the Chen and Lipton labs impressed judges with their creativity and precision, the Engle lab won due to their incredible rendition of "The Twelve Cranial Nerves of Christmas." Well done!
