Hello there! 

My name Kira McGlothen, and I am a passionate Project Manager and Software Developer with an extensive background in Education, Learning & Development, and Media + Entertainment.

I have obtained a Masters of Science Degree in Education. With this I've had the privilege of working on diverse projects that fuel my love for Adult Learning,and STEM Education while also having the opprotunity to develop Professional Development Training and Onboarding Programs. My Bachelor of Arts  degree in Music has evolved my passions and creativity and I've had the privilege of working on diverse projects that fuel my love for Performing Arts Education and the Media and Entertainment Industry. 

My work philosophy centers around  improvement over complacency. By being a lifelong and continuous learner I enjoy setting new goals, seeking feedback, and overall having a growth mindset. I've had the pleasure of collaborating on projects such as the High Sierra Starbase, where I managed projects to help build the first STEM  educational program in Northern Nevada based out of the Department of Defense. I've also had the opprotunity to work on Learning and Development Programs during my time as an Educator and Project Learning Manager.  I have gained skills within within recruitment, training, and onboarding talent by managing projects withing Learning and Development. These experiences have shaped my commitment to being a lifelong learner and  has allowed me to tap into differnet industries where project ideation, and coordination can be of use. 

When I'm not immersed in Project Management or Software Development, you'll find me songwriting, playing volleyball, or enjoying time with family and friends. I believe that a healthy work-life balance is key to creating impactful work with any organization.
