<KIPS - Sound Penspinning Championship>

Ⅰ.Introduction

​

• KSPC is the second official Penspinning tournament held in  Korea Institute of Pen Spinning.

​

​

Ⅱ.Tournament

​

1. Meaning

​

(1)KIPS - Sound Penspinning Championship is the 2nd official KIPS tournament after the successful KWC(KIPS - With Confidence) last year. KSPC have been supported by sound(spinner in korea since early 2000s)

2. Tournament rules

​

(1)Tournament method

preliminary round: All spinners submit a video, ranked, top 8 proceed to the main rounds 

Round 1: Random matching 1v1 -> spinners get divided into 2 groups (Win group and lose group) 

Round 2: Win group and lose group spinners compete in between each group top 2 from each group proceed to the next round 

Round 3: Win group spinners choose their opponents 1v1 

Round 4: Winners of round 3 compete for top 1 Losers of round 3 compete for top 3

(2) Ranking method

Add all ranks given by the judges and the spinner with lesser points get higher ranks.​ (same as WT21)​

(4)Other Details

​Participants sould send the video via e-mail to the main organizer of the tournament. 

After submitting the video, uploading it is allowed.

At the last day of submittion, all the videos will be uploaded on a spread sheet​

1. Judging criteria

​

1- Execution : 12 points

· Control(5 points)

· Refinement(4 points)

·Tempo(3 points)

2-Difficulty: 10 points

3-Originality: 10 points

4-Effectiveness: 8 points

·Integration(3 points)

·Density(3 points)

·Effect(2 points)

​5-Presentation: -2 points)

Ⅳ. Other Rules

1.Filming rules

(1)Participants, staff, and all community members responsible for protecting the competition must conduct themselves in all internal and external aspects of the competition based on respect for records throughout the competition period.

(2)Participants and all organizers may criticize each other, but these regulations specify that offensive or unplesent criticism may be an element of punishment.​

(3)The regulations regarding the time required for the competition (video submission date, etc.) must be adhered to without a single second of error, and no exceptions are allowed.​

3. Judge related rules

(1)Judges must engage in judging with a constructive and critical attitude, but must refrain from any words or actions that may be offensive to participants.​

(2)The judging must be conducted fairly.

4. We will endeavor to resolve all special situations not specified in these regulations through a fair and transparent consultation process through a consultative body of tournament organizers, judges, and tournament participants.
