Ⅰ.Introduction

KDPC is the Third official Penspinning tournament held in Korean Institute of Pen Spinning.

Ⅱ.Tournament

Meaning

(1)KIPS - Dongl3XD Penspinning Championship is the 3rd official KIPS tournament after the KSPC (KIPS-Sound Penspinning Championship) . KDPC have been supported by Dongl3XD (Prize mods and pen. about 300$ worth)

Tournament rules

(1)Tournament method

Tournament Format

This tournament will follow the Battle Royale format used in the 1st Official KWC held in 2023. The Battle Royale format originates from professional wrestling, where a match continues until only one person remains in the ring. In this tournament, it is a step-by-step elimination method designed to determine the single final participant who delivers the most outstanding spinning performance.

Example of the Format

If the minimum number of participants advancing to Round 2 is set at 12, and 20 participants submit videos in Round 1, the judges will evaluate all 20 entries and select 12 participants to advance to the next round, while the remaining 8 participants are eliminated. As the tournament progresses, the minimum number of advancing participants is gradually reduced, and the final winner is announced in the last round.

Tournament Procedure Announcement

In this tournament, the number of participants advancing to Round 2 (Main Stage) is limited to 12. To minimize participant fatigue, finalists will be required to produce a total of four videos throughout the tournament. Round 1 – Selection of 12 participants from all entrants (1st Survival Round) Round 2 – Elimination of 4 participants from the remaining 12 (2nd Survival Round) Round 3 – Elimination of 4 participants from the remaining 8 (Main Round) Round 4 – Final Ranking Match

(2) Ranking method

The ranking system is adopted from the Penspinning World Tournament. Each judge assigns a ranking to the participants, and the rankings from all judges are summed. The participant with the lowest total score is awarded the higher rank.

(4)Other Details

Participants sould send the video via e-mail to the main organizer of the tournament.

After submitting the video, uploading it is allowed.

At the last day of submittion, all the videos will be uploaded on a spread sheet

1- Execution : 10 points

2-Difficulty: 10 points

3-Originality: 10 points

4-Effectiveness: 8 points

Ⅳ. Other Rules

1.Filming rules

(1)Participants, staff, and all community members responsible for protecting the competition must conduct themselves in all internal and external aspects of the competition based on respect for records throughout the competition period.

(2)Participants and all organizers may criticize each other, but these regulations specify that offensive or unplesent criticism may be an element of punishment.

(3)The regulations regarding the time required for the competition (video submission date, etc.) must be adhered to without a single second of error, and no exceptions are allowed.

3. Judge related rules

(1)Judges must engage in judging with a constructive and critical attitude, but must refrain from any words or actions that may be offensive to participants.

(2)The judging must be conducted fairly.

4. We will endeavor to resolve all special situations not specified in these regulations through a fair and transparent consultation process through a consultative body of tournament organizers, judges, and tournament participants.
