Ralph Mann

Rev Ralph Mann

On this page are some of the photographs of Kingham and it's people taken by the late Rev Ralph Mann

Ralph Mann was born in Hampstead, London in 1927. In 1964 he got a job at Kingham Hill school teaching history. It was there that Ralph became interested in the history of Kingham, publishing several articles. In 1967 he became a founder member of the Chipping Norton Local History Society and in 1973, accepted the post of Head of History at Chipping Norton Comprehensive School.

Ralph was a well known and loved figure around the town of Chipping Norton and nearby villages and those who heard his fascinating and very amusing talks,

The photographs of Kingham and it's people that appear here were kindly supplied by Ralph's son John Mann.
