We believe and adhere to the authority of the Holy Bible (Sacred Scriptures) both the
Old and New Testaments. (Romans15:4, Hebrews. 4:12)
We believe the scriptures to be the inerrant, inspired Word of God which is the final
authority in all matters. (Psalm 119:89, Matthew 5:18)
We maintain a belief in the inerrancy of the original manuscripts of the scriptures.
However, biblical inerrancy should not be confused with biblical literacy.
(1 Timothy 2:15, 2 Timothy 3:15-16)
The historic and foundational realities of the Bible are essential to building one’s faith
and knowledge of God. We believe that the Bible is a progressive document that
reveals the will of God to people of all generations both past and present. (Heb.1:1-2, Heb.
13:8)
We are sensitive to what the Holy Spirit is saying to the Church presently, not just
previously.” He that has an ear let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches”
(John 16:13, Revelation 2:29)
Without the life of the Spirit our words are dead, and we will be ineffective in being
spiritually relatable to our generation. We embrace the Logos (Gods written word) and
the Rhema Word (A word of scripture that is inspirationally uttered) the quickened insight of a life-giving word. We trust the Holy Spirit to bring life to the scriptures;
imparting wisdom, knowledge and understanding to empower people to impact their
world. (Matthew 4:4, John 6:63)
The doctrine that we believe and teach is not to perpetuate dead religious dogmas and
traditions of men but to transform the lives of people through the power of grace and
truth. (John 1:14,1Corinthians 2:4)
Jesus the living word was full of grace and full of truth. Jesus is The Word who was in
the beginning with God. Jesus was The Word who created all things. Jesus is The Word
that was God. The Word (Jesus) became flesh and blood. The Word (Jesus) lived
among men in human form. Jesus was 100% human and 100% God in one person. In
the person of Jesus who is the very Son of God indwelled all the fullness of grace and
truth.
Jesus is the singular most important person in the history of mankind. His life, His
teachings, His ministry, His crucifixion, and His resurrection is the blueprint for the
church to reveal the kingdom of God to others.
The doctrinal beliefs of KRDC are governed by this one premise alone, to re-present
Jesus through the scriptures and by the Holy Spirit governing the church, so that each
person receives full access to His grace and full access to His truth.
(John 1:16-17, John 5:39, Acts 2:1-4)
WE BELIEVE THERE IS ONE GOD, ETERNALLY EXISTING IN THREE PERSONS: THE FATHER, SON AND HOLY SPIRIT. (GENESIS 1.1, MATTHEW 28.19)
That he created the Universe by his spoken word in 6 literal days for his glory. (Genesis 1; Exodus 20.11; Romans 11.36)
WE BELIEVE IN THE DEITY OF JESUS CHRIST (JOHN 10.30, REVELATION 1.8)
His virgin birth. (Luke 1.34-35)
His sinless life. (2 Corinthians 5.21, Hebrews 7.26)
His vicarious and atoning death (1 Corinthians 15.3, Hebrews 2.9)
His resurrection. (1 Corinthians 15.4, Luke 24)
His ascension to the right hand of the Father. (Acts 1.9)
His return to earth in glory and power. (Matthew 24.30, Revelation 19.11-13)
WE BELIEVE IN THE PRESENT MINISTRY OF THE PERSON OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. (JOHN 14.15, 16)
He dwells within a follower of Christ and enables them to live the Christian life. (Ephesians 1.13, 14)
His giving of gifts to the Church to complete his purposes. (1 Corinthians 12)
WE BELIEVE A FOLLOWER OF CHRIST HAS HAD A CONVERSION OF THE HEART. (JEREMIAH 31.33)
We have assurance of salvation by faith in Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 2.8)
WE BELIEVE THE BIBLE TO BE THE INERRANT GOD BREATHED WORD OF GOD. (2 TIMOTHY 3.15-17)
From which we derive all things of faith and practice. (2 Peter 1.3)
WE BELIEVE THE MUSIC WE PLAY AND SONGS WE SING IN CHURCH ARE FOR GOD. (ROMANS 11.36, PSALM 150, PSALM 147.7)
WE BELIEVE IN THE RESURRECTION OF THE SAVED AND THE LOST; THOSE WHO ARE SAVED BY FAITH IN THE FINISHED WORK OF CHRIST TO THE RESURRECTION OF LIFE, AND THOSE WHO ARE NOT UNTO THE RESURRECTION OF DAMNATION. (JOHN 5.28, 29)
WE BELIEVE THAT THE CHURCH’S PRIMARY MISSION IS TO DISPLAY THE GLORY OF GOD. (EPHESIANS 3.21)
That the Church has a mission to carry out as his loving example and voice of his truth. (Matthew 28.19, 2 Corinthians 5.20)
We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and the ‘new birth’ we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives.
We believe that in order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be baptised in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit enables us to use spiritual gifts, including speaking in tongues.
We believe in the power and significance of the Church and the necessity of believers to meet regularly together for fellowship, prayer and the ‘breaking of bread’.
We believe that God has individually equipped us so that we can successfully achieve His purpose for our lives which is to worship God, fulfil our role in the Church and serve the community in which we live.
We believe that God wants to heal and transform us so that we can live healthy and blessed lives in order to help others more effectively.
We believe that our eternal destination of either Heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ.
