What happens if my student loses or damages a library book?
If a book is lost or damaged, the replacement cost will be added to your student’s account. No fines are assessed for overdue books returned in good condition.
How can I see what books my student is borrowing?
Your student can log in to Destiny through Classlink, then click My Stuff > History on the navigation toolbar. You can also request your student’s library checkout history by emailing LEHSlibrary@kcsdschools.net.
Can parents/guardians check out books from the school library?
Yes! Parents/guardians are welcome to set up an account and check out books from the library. Stop by during school hours, and we’ll get you started!
Can I request books for the library?
Absolutely! If you have suggestions for books or resources you think would benefit students, let us know. We value your input and strive to provide materials that support our school community.
Does the library have digital resources my student can use at home?
Yes! The library offers eBooks, audiobooks, and research databases that students can access 24/7 through ClassLink. Need help navigating these resources? Contact the librarian for a tutorial.
