Personalized guidance for everyone
Classes are led by a physiotherapist specializing in exercise therapy. Exercises are systematically adjusted according to the level, limitations and goals of each participant. Whether you are just starting out or already active, you will find your place in the group.
Exercise at your own pace. Progress together.
Why exercise is a treatment in its own right
Regular physical activity is not merely a supplement to your medical care. For neurological conditions, scientific research now recognizes it as a first-line therapeutic pillar.
When you move, your brain produces BDNF — a protein that protects neurons, strengthens brain connections and stimulates the creation of new neurons. Its levels are reduced in Parkinson's disease and after a stroke; exercise is one of the few ways to restore them.
At the cellular level, exercise improves the health of mitochondria — the energy powerhouses of your nerve cells. Mitochondrial dysfunction is involved in virtually all neurodegenerative diseases; by stimulating the creation of healthy mitochondria and eliminating defective ones, exercise literally improves the energy supply to your neurons and reduces the oxidative stress that accelerates their deterioration.
On a metabolic level, exercise restores insulin sensitivity and reduces chronic inflammation — two mechanisms directly linked to the progression of neurological conditions.
In short: moving regularly means acting on the very mechanisms of your condition — not just its consequences.
Our classes are designed to give you access to these benefits on a regular, safe basis, adapted to your situation.
