Game day is when you use what you've practiced and make real decisions. But, game day doesn't always go perfectly. Sometimes things don't go like you planned and it's hard to follow the playbook. The pressure can feel like a lot. One game day, we have choices to make. 

Sometimes we're tempted to go after worldly wins like being the best, getting our way, having more stuff, or just being comfortable. And sometimes people will do sinful things to "win" like cheat, lie, or do things they shouldn't, just to "win".

But that's not God's way. God's "winning" is different. Godly wins look like trusting God, doing what's right, loving others and helping God's kingdom grow. 

Jesus had his own "game day" moments. He was tempted, felt hunger, pressured to make worldly choices, felt sadness, and felt pain. But Jesus always chose Godly wisdom over worldly wisdom. He used God's Word (the playbook) and he trusted God's plan. 

But, we won't always get it right on game day. We'll make wrong choices, forget God's Word and his wisdom and we'll choose our own way. We aren't perfect. Romans 5:8 reminds us:

...but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

So how do we truly "win" In God's game? It's not by being the best or always getting our way. We win by trusting Jesus, following God and living with Godly wisdom.
