Happy Easter! Jesus is Alive! 

Last week many people were praising God, but some people weren't very happy about it. They didn't think that Jesus was the king that God had promised them. Soldiers arrested Jesus and hung him on a cross to die. All of Jesus' friends were sad and scared because they didn't understand that Jesus died on the cross to take the punishment for our sins. On Sunday morning, three women when to the tomb where Jesus was buried to take care of his body. But when they arrived, the giant stone had been rolled away, and an angel said that Jesus was alive! Jesus rose from thr grave, just like he said he would. Jesus is alive!

Jesus is alive today! He loves us and wants us to celebrate the new life that he gives us when we put our trust in him! Halleluia! Jesus is alive!
