There's so much pain in the world right now. We all feel it. Some more, some less, but we all do. We wish that it'd be different, that we'd have what we need to thrive, that we and those we care about wouldn't have to suffer so much.
We struggle to change ourselves and our circumstances or search for a way distract our minds. But that is because deep down we know that this pain is not actually who we are. Who we really are is a clear open sky free of suffering and full of love. And we want to come back to that. We want to go home.
Meditation is then really just a path of self discovery. We learn to recognise our true nature, our inner sky and inner safe space. We do this by connecting with our innate qualities of awareness, love and compassion and wisdom that are always present and always available.
