Introduction
For my self-directed learning opportunity, I chose Code.org to enrich my skills and knowledge as a technology educator. I believe it is important to apply this learning to enhance students' educational experiences with technology. Code.org offers a diverse range of activities that I can integrate into my classroom to boost students' engagement.
Certificates Earned
I have completed all five lessons in the "AI 101 Self-Paced Professional Learning for Educators" course and two lessons in the "Teaching Data and Society" course. These courses have equipped me with knowledge and skills in using coding to effectively teach students. Code.org offers a wide range of lessons covering topics such as AI, cybersecurity, data analysis, binary concepts, coding, computer science, and many more. Educators have the flexibility to engage at their own pace or participate in workshops for specific courses offered.

I'm excited to share that I've exceeded my initial course goals and thoroughly enjoyed exploring the platform. Knowing I can utilize Code.org anytime to enhance student learning is particularly rewarding. Additionally, I now feel confident in educating other educators about the pros and cons of integrating AI in the classroom. Exploring this platform has been enjoyable, and I eagerly anticipate taking more courses to further expand my skills and knowledge.
