Summer 2021
Summer 2021
I began my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) journey in August 2021 with a vision to influence nursing on a broader scale by transforming how undergraduate and graduate nurses are educated and prepared for practice. My goal has been to address critical challenges in the nursing profession—specifically workforce shortages and the growing issue of burnout—by improving the quality and relevance of nursing education. Through advanced leadership, evidence-based strategies, and system-level change, I aim to contribute to developing a resilient, well-prepared nursing workforce. I am set to graduate in December 2025, and this milestone represents both the culmination of my academic journey and the beginning of a greater impact on nursing education and practice.
