Today was the first official day of the LTT and a day to learn about the work of the other schools since the LTT in Croatia. The day started with presentations from the Romanian students about the other countries! The guests were happy and impressed by this and we all got to learn something new about the participating countries. We also sang each countries' national anthem. After these presentations, we were shown around the school and got to see the school's project corner amongst other things. The students then had some time to get to know each other while the teachers had a meeting. After lunch, each country presented their work since the LTT in Croatia. This was both informative and useful for our work for the rest of the week. To know where to go, it helps to know where we are. After the presentations, we all had some free time to explore before we all ate dinner together at school. We are looking forward to more great discussions and common learning tomorrow!

Today has been another day of new impressions and exchanging of culture and knowledge. We have visited the Danube Delta Museum and Aquarium. Here we were shown around by a guide who told us a lot of illuminating facts about the nature that we are trying to preserve. The students got to see the animal life around the delta both on land and in the sea. Later we visited the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve who are in charge of preserving the delta. We were given a presentation about the Delta and some efforts that are being made to preserve the area, like beach clean-ups and restricted admission to certain areas. After these visits, the students had some workshops while the teachers had a meeting about the project and the coming LTT in Turkey. Amongst other things, the students made beautiful picture frames. Tomorrow we will go out on the Danube in a boat to explore and take water samples. We cannot wait for another day of discussing and comparing our countries' efforts and results.

Today we have experienced the Danube-delta by boat! We started the day with breakfast at the hotel or in our host families and then went straight to the boat. Here we got to experience leaving the harbour of Tulcea by boat, as well as the difference in what the Norwegians felt was cold weather as opposed to the people from the other countries. Along the Danube we saw large amounts of plastic that had been left by the riverside, most likely left there by campers. Here we also saw a big difference in the areas that are accessible to people and not. The boat took us up to the border of the Ukraine before we turned down a smaller river to see the difference to the wider parts of the Danube. Here we also took a water sample to use tomorrow when we will compare it to the water samples from the other countries. After the boat ride, we had a beach clean-up near the school. Here we all got to see which sorts if things that are thrown away often, as this area is cleaned more often than others. We all had an enlightening day and are looking forward to examining our water samples tomorrow.

The day was filled with very useful and practical activities in two different laboratories: one of biology and another of chemistry, where the students got the chance to examine the quality of the water and later explore with microsopes what the water was made of. The water samples were from a local lake, the Danube delta and tap water from Romania. The samples that were taken in Norway, Croatia and Turkey were also examined and compared with the other results. After lunch, the students first made and then presented a poster in which they've written some slogans with reasons to not to use plastic, in all languages they actually speak. The evening was reserved for a tasty dinner in school with a farewell party. In a short time many friendships were made and everyone could feel good vibe in the air. The crew from Norway is going home early in the morning and we wish them safe travels.

The last working day of the LTT in beautiful Tulcea started in the school of our amazing hosts. The students exchanged impressions, talked with each other about activities they liked during this unforgettable week. They also discussed the things they have learned and in what direction we should all continue to go to raise awareness about the huge global problem of plastic pollution. We proudly took over our certificates before going to lunch. The rest of the day we spent all together with our new friends who gave us the best week of our lives. In the afternoon we enjoyed a walk through Tulcea streets and quick shopping of souvenirs for our family members and friends. After the tasteful dinner, we came back to the hotel to pack our luggage, because tomorrow a long trip to our homes awaits us all! Thank you for a fantastic meeting in Tulcea, Romania this week!
