Kids' Discovery Days is a play-based program where children naturally learn through play by engaging in and making sense of their world. Guided play is self-chosen, enjoyable, and process oriented. These experiences are child-directed and teacher-facilitated, meaning teachers take an active role as intentional planners, observers, and guides.
KDD is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). As such, our philosophy of teaching and child development are grounded in NAEYC’s Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP) position statement.
Highlights of our philosophy and core principles are:

The school year at Kids' Discovery Days consists of a 9-month program that runs from September to May. We offer one daily session that run from 9:00am-12:00pm. We loosely follow Jeffco Schools calendar for holidays, closures, and breaks.
You may choose to enroll your child for two, three or five days a week.
Tuesday and Thursday
