Photography

The aim of our group is to learn from each other how to take better and more interesting photographs so we discuss camera and lens settings and also composition and style. We all have our favourite subjects such as macro, portraits and landscape, but we cover a wide variety and each month we show photographs on a topic we have set including discussing photos that didn’t quite work. You can see the list below. 

Group members also demonstrate and talk about a topic in which they have more expertise or interest. We will also be going for trips to various locations during the year.

It doesn’t matter whether you are a novice or an “expert”; use a camera or a phone, you are welcome to join us for a taster at Smeeton Westerby Village Hall, third Tuesday of each month at 10.30.
