This self-paced course was designed to help entry-level corporate employees build essential time management skills for the workplace. Aimed at early-career professionals (typically in their first 1–3 years on the job), the course blends core time management strategies with real-world application, giving learners practical tools to manage tasks, set priorities, and maintain focus in fast-paced work environments.
My goal was to create a program that is clear, practical, and engaging, with a strong emphasis on habit-building, personal reflection, and actionable takeaways. I built this course in Articulate Rise 360, using Canva and Freepik for visuals and Pages for content planning and storyboarding. I was responsible for the entire project from instructional strategy and scripting to visual layout and interactivity.

This course was created as a self-paced, interactive learning experience that introduces time management concepts in a clear, accessible way. The goal was to scaffold content for early-career professionals, using practical examples and simple tools they can immediately apply. Instructional design choices prioritize short, focused lessons; purposeful use of interaction; and a clean visual style to reduce cognitive load. The course was built in Articulate Rise 360 and demonstrates thoughtful integration of media, interactivity, and downloadable resources.
I designed the course around the natural flow of an employee’s work cycle: awareness, planning, execution, and reflection. Each module was created to build specific time management skills, from identifying time wasters to setting actionable goals and maintaining focus. The lesson order, pacing, and task complexity were intentionally scaffolded to support gradual skill development and ensure learners can apply strategies with increasing confidence at each step.
I followed the ADDIE framework to guide the development of this demo course:
Analyze: Defined target audience (entry-level corporate professionals), learning objectives, and workplace context.
Design: Structured course flow; selected interaction types to match learning goals and support skill-building.
Develop: Built selected lessons in Articulate Rise 360; created supporting materials (graphics in Canva, worksheets in Word/PDF).
Implement: For this portfolio demo, selected lessons were built; full implementation would occur in a live corporate LMS.
Evaluate: In a live version, I would gather learner feedback and performance data to continuously improve the course.
Using Articulate Rise 360, I built a fully responsive, mobile-friendly course that included:
Custom knowledge checks
Scenario-based activities
Interactive tasks such as matching and labeled graphics
Embedded video and audio elements
Downloadable planning tools and end-of-module reflections
The clean, intuitive structure allows learners to move through the course at their own pace, with clear progression and opportunities to revisit key strategies. I sourced, edited, and created all visuals using Canva and Freepik to maintain a cohesive, professional aesthetic.
This demo course was created to showcase my instructional design process and approach to building engaging, self-paced corporate learning experiences. I designed the course structure to scaffold practical time management skills in a clear, actionable way — aligned to the needs of entry-level professionals.
While selected lessons have been fully built for this portfolio demo, the full course scope was intentionally planned to demonstrate thoughtful sequencing, interactivity, and opportunities for real-world application. This project highlights my ability to design effective instructional flow, select appropriate media and activities, and develop learning solutions that align with both learner needs and business objectives.
