Overview

This course builds upon basic programming skill and develops them further, both theoretically and practically, in a commercial direction. It gives students experience in the use of third and fourth generation languages, with emphasis on building maintainable programs. Thus, an introduction to SAP/ABAP programming language as a tool.

Learning Objective

1. Explain the underlying concepts of information system.

2. Familiar with information system tools particularly the SAP/ABAP programming language

3. Demonstrate skills required for designing, documentation and building efficient, fully tested programs, which will be maintainable by others.

4. Describe the different methods available for manipulating data held in files and databases
