CHampions game

1. GENERAL INFORMATION

Champions Game is considered the most important individual game of KFL. It is a 200-questions quiz, divided into 10 categories of 20 questions each mimicking all specialists quizzes we have: history, pop music, visual arts, lifestyle, films & tv, performing arts, geography, literature, science and sports.
Every KFL subscriber can participate, but not everyone plays in the official standings. Eeach qualified player plays in the standings while other players participate for fun.
Champions Game is held using our two main platforms: Zoom and Open-Quiz. Use these two hyperlinks to familiarize yourself with the basic rules for using these platforms in KFL.
Every category lasts 500 seconds. Game is played with one 5 min break.
It is a difficult quiz even by KFL standards. The organizer aims for the winner to have around 70-75% correct answers, while the average score should be 45-50%. In terms of difficulty and intensity, the Champions Game can be easily compared to the WQC (World Quizzing Championship) set.

2. PROMOTION RULES

By default, all divisions except A play for spots in a higher ranked division. 16 players from tier B play for 4 slots in A tier, 24 players from tier C play for 8 slots in tier B and 32 players from tier D play for 12 slots in tier C.
There are a number of cases when players compete for more spots: one or more players from the higher ranked division decided to terminate their subscription; the subscription of one or more players from a higher ranked division has been terminated by the organizer; the player signals to the organizer that they do not plan to play the Daily in the near future, so they want to automatically drop into the Open.
If two or more players who qualify for promotion have the same number of points, the player with the most points after 8 weeks of the Daily gets the advantage. If miraculously two or more players also have the same number of points in the Daily, the organizer will make a further decision on this matter, which will be announced.

3. REGISTRATION

At least one week before the first games start, players will receive a registration email with basic information.
Every registration email features a link to a Google Form that consists 10 timeslots (between Monday-Friday) to choose from.
If a player has chosen a date and after some time wants to change it, they just need to re-fill the form with a new time slot, this would be more than enough.
