1.1. In the KFL, the same link is used for absolutely all games.

1.2. When players join Zoom, they need to open a chat. Find a ‘chat’ icon in the menu bar and click on it.
1.3.1. Before the game starts, in chat, the host will send players their personalized links. For pairs and teams tournaments this is also relevant, only the link must be received by the captain of the team or the captain of the pair. The link will look like this:
1.3.2. The captain is usually the person who will share their screen with teammates and enter answers.
1.3.3. Only one person from the team can have access to Open-quiz simultaneously. If a team wants to change the captain during the game, the new player must open the link after the host has shown the answers of the past round.
1.3.4. When you receive the link, please confirm it by commenting the message with 👍 in the chat as seen in the picture.
1.4. By default, players' cameras should be on. The microphone can be turned off so that unnecessary sounds do not annoy other participants. Players with a turned off camera will still be allowed to play, but please note that the organizer has the right to remove the result of such a player from the final table.
1.5. For pairs and teams games, players need to know how to join breakout rooms. They need to click on the ‘More’ icon and choose ‘Breakout Rooms’ as shown in the following picture. If players click on the ‘More’ icon and do not see ‘Breakout Rooms’, it means that the host hasn’t started breakout rooms yet.
1.6. When players click on ‘Breakout Rooms’, they will see the list of rooms whose names match the names of the teams. Players need to click on the button ‘Join’ next to the room with the name of their team (example in the following screens).
1.7. When players join the breakout rooms, captains (or any player on the team) need to share the screen showing the browser with an already opened link which was received previously from the host. To do this, players need to click on the ‘Share Screen’ button in the menu bar and then choose ‘Entire’ screen. It is fundamentally important to share exactly the entire screen and not a separate tab. This has a direct impact on the credibility of your results.
1.8. The fundamental rule for pairs and team games is that all players who are not entering answers must keep both of their hands clearly visible to the camera during the round, except for the following:
a) Players need to enter the answer to the chat because of the complicated spelling of the answer;
b) Players need to take water, food, etc that is out of camera range;
c) Any other cases within common sense;
1.9. If players leave the game place during a round, they may only return at the beginning of the next round.
1.10. If a team (pair) needs help from a host, they can invite the host to their breakout room. This can be done in the following way (see the next two screens):
