You will have noted from a previous message that at the last committee meeting held on 15th July, the committee were informed that 176 members were not paying the current subscription rate of ten pounds. Since that announcement, four members have now paid the correct subscription rate; thus, there are still 172 members who are not paying the correct rate. This equates to a considerable income loss.

A reminder that the Sunday lunches continue the next being on Sunday, 16th August, at the Wheatsheaf Northdown Park Road, Margate, CT9 3LN, with the closing date being 9th August. Details of future lunches and the Marlowe Theatre pantomime can be found on the website under the heading of Events 2026.

You will be aware that currently the position of membership secretary is still vacant. As a result of this, to lessen that workload, in organising the Sunday lunches, as of next year, only six venues will be used.
