The Philippine Inclusion Model provides four education placement options for learners with disabilities. Regular classroom placement involves placing learners with disabilities in regular classrooms with their peers who do not have disabilities, and accommodations may be provided to support them. Resource room placement allows learners with disabilities to receive special education services and support while still participating in regular classroom activities. Special class placement involves placing learners with disabilities in separate classes with specialized instruction and curriculum tailored to their individual needs. Home-based learning provides education and support services to learners with disabilities in their homes.
Each placement option is designed to meet the individual needs of learners with disabilities and promote their access to quality education. The Philippine Inclusion Model recognizes that learners with disabilities have diverse needs and abilities, and therefore require personalized education placement options. By providing a range of placement options, the model aims to promote inclusive education and ensure that all learners have equal opportunities to learn and participate in regular classroom activities.
