Emerging Technology

For this project I had to choose one emerging technology and make a research about it then create a power point presentation to present in class or via a video on my class discussion board.

My emerging technology is Structural Batteries Composites, I chose SBCs because I like Electrical Vehicles and this new technology will help improve and be more efficient when it comes to how long power last and the overall structure of vehicles, airplanes, drones and many other applications. The one interest fact I learned about this new technology is that carbon fiber can serve as both a structural reinforcement and and an electrode in a lithium-ion battery.

Lessons Learned

By creating this power point presentation I Learn about structural Battery Composites which are promising to improve our Electrical Vehicles. This lithium-ion based batteries are made out carbon fiber promising a solution to current demands for efficiency and eco-friendly vehicles. they promise a combination of high energy, quick charge, power density and long-life charge. which is convenient for electric vehicles and portable devices.
